The Auburn Aviation Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, charitable organization
(#68-0083066), supports local high school students through the Auburn Aviation
Association's youth Student Pilot Scholarship program. Pilot training
offers students a chance to learn and utilize knowledge in the aerodynamics
of flight, weather, physics, and navigation as well as improving overall
communication skills nd decision making.
Though the Auburn Aviation Association produces the Air Fair, it is important
to recognize that many other local community associations and organizations
participate to make this event a success, some of which are: the local
Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter, the Civil Air Patrol (CAP),
and many individual community minded volunteer members from the Auburn Soroptomists
and Rotary Clubs – just to name a few. This is truly a community event.
