Vendor Requirements

The Auburn Aviation Association (a 501(c)3 nonprofit, charitable organization) will present the 2008 Auburn Air Fair “THUNDER IN THE SKY,” on Saturday August 2, 2008 at the Auburn Municipal Airport, from 8:00 a.m. until ~4:00 p.m.  Our show theme this year is “On the Wings of Eagles-Passing Aviation to the Next Generation.”

Proceeds from the event will fund the Free Flight Student Pilot Scholarship program. 

Spaces for food vendors, or those requiring 110V electricity, are $100; all others are $75.  Vendors/Exhibitors must provide their own set ups, and extension cords (at least 200’) if using electric power.  Assume an allotted space of approximately 15’ wide by 10’ deep.  Please describe any special needs below for consideration.  Generators are not permitted because of the noise they create in the vendor/exhibitor area. 

The Auburn Aviation Association can assume no responsibility for items lost, stolen or damaged.  Vendors & Exhibitors must provide their own insurance coverage and submit evidence of a “certificate of liability insurance” for $1 million general commercial liability naming the City of Auburn and the Auburn Aviation Association as additional insured.   Vendors/Exhibitors must sign and return the attached “Indemnity Agreement” for the City of Auburn and the Auburn Aviation Association. Food vendors must complete, sign and return a three-page “Temporary Food Facilities at Community Events” food vendor application, preparation planner, and self-inspection document required by the County of Placer. 

You will be directed to a pre-assigned location upon arrival on the morning of the 2^nd of August.  Please arrive early (suggest 7:00a.m.) so your space is completely set up prior to the commencement of the event at 8:00 a.m.  Take New Airport Road north from Bell Road, turn left on Earhart, and right on Rickenbacker.  A volunteer will be present near the flagpole to direct you to your space. 

Consider being a show sponsor. Sponsorship at the $500 level or higher waives your vendor space fee, plus you receive event and publication advertising.
